How fast time goes by ? Here we are in the month of February already , and here in Brampton is turning out to be one tough and snowy month . They say that this is the snowiest month of February in the past 30 years. It seems that as soon as I finish shoveling snow from our driveway and making a path in the park – next to our house it is time to do it all over again . Thank god for a snow blower as with out it This old man would never survive cleaning all that never ending white presents from above .

At least the water level will rise close to normal as for the past many years with a lack of snow and rain it has drastically decreased .The fish will be happy as they will have more water to swim in the lakes a the rivers will flow allot faster .Cant wait to go fishing and with this taught in my head I will go and start my snow blower once again , as we are blessed with some more of the white fluff falling from above .

Valentines day is coming and with it 1 st anniversary of our beloved Buddy’s passing .We still miss him each and every day and his presence is greatly missed .Rusty and Whiskers are starting to get closer to each other as they realize that they are here to stay .

Our Friend Ron will turn the big 60 soon and we will be there to turn that corner with him .It should be one heck of a party .Happy birthday dear friend …

Linda is coming back home at the end of this month for a quick 3 week visit .We can hardly wait as we miss her around here .I am sure that time will fly by quick as she will be here and our gain will be Chrise’s loss for the time being anyway .

Tina and her family in Australia are doing well .They have moved to their new house , the kids started the school and they will start looking for work.So the vacation is over and now back to reality ..Good luck to them all…

Our little God son Noah was a little sick and thank god is doing much better .We are on the way to see him this afternoon and we are looking forward to that happy occasion .

To you all and especially my darling wife Noreen – Happy Valentines day and many more happy returns ……Stefan

Hi to you all !

It is January 5 2008 .The Holidays end is near and things are slowly returning back to normal .Most of us are back to work , back to normal daily routine .The weather here however is something else .One day we are freezing – 20C ,with snow coming out of everywhere – then we have like today .It is plus 2 degrees C and by tomorrow going to plus 12C.It is almost impossible to know what one should get ready for tomorrow to wear .Anyway it gives us something to talk about .

Yesterday in Ireland Noreen’s sister had a little celebration it is called Women’s Christmas . She had a house full of her women friend to celebrate Women’s Christmas .To those of us that are not familiar with that – here is a little write up about it .

It is also not known as Nollaig na mBan (Women’s Christmas), so called because of the tradition (still very strong in Cork, though only just surviving in the rest of the country) of Irish men taking on all the household duties on that day and giving their spouses a day off. Most women will either hold parties or go out to celebrate the day with their friends, sisters, mothers, aunts etc. Bars and restaurants have a near 100 percent female clientele on this night. Children often buy presents for their mothers and grandmothers, and it closely resembles Mother’s Day in this respect.

While originally a rural tradition, in recent years, Nollaig na mBan is enjoying something of a revival, both in urban areas in Ireland and Britain, as well as in emigrant communities in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. For the Irish Women’s Network of BC , Canada, for example, this event is the highlight of their social calendar.

As you know this year is the Christmas that some of our dear relatives and Friends are away from us . This morning my wife Noreen showed me a beautiful poem that I wish to share with you .

My First Christmas in Heaven.

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world bellow,

with tiny lights like heaven’s stars , reflecting on the snow .

The sight is so spectacular , please wipe away the tear,

for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,

but the sound of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir here .

I have no words to tell you , the joy their voices bring,

for its beyond description to hear the angels sing .

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your hearth,

but I am not so far away , we really are not apart .

So be happy for me dear ones, you know I hold you dear ,

and be glad that I am spending Christmas wit Jesus Christ this year.

I sen you each a special gift ,from my heavenly home above ,

I send you each a memory of my undying love .

After all , Love is a gift , more precious than pure gold,

it was most important in the stories Jesus told .

Please Love and keep each other , as my father said to do ,

for I can’t count the Love or blessings he has for each of you.

So have a merry Christmas and wipe away the tear ,

remember ,I am spending Christmas here with Jesus Christ .
It is a great poem and I only wish that I could write myself .Unfortunately I do not know the author .Anyway for the last time and until the next time –Merry Little Women’s Christmas and A successful New Year from myself I my darling Noreen.

It has been a year to remember , more so than any other year .There were so many changes in our lives , that we are glad that this year’s end is fast approaching and the new begging is bringing new hopes for us all.We lost dear family members and close friends , who passed on to their eternal peace and on to their final resting place .They are now by the the side of our creator almighty Father – our God .

May they rest in peace as our prayers each and every night are with them all and the one’s gone before Them .

First on February 14 we lost our beloved companion of 10 years our Dog Buddy . Over the years he gave us plenty of love and happiness. We miss him and not a day goes by that we don’t think of him . He was our little piggy bank my pal my Buddy .

Miss you and love you forever ..

They had some time together in Ireland and here in Canada, which helped with the healing process for us all . Our Mum , grandmother and friend Helina Hodneet is now enjoying the peace and tranquility as she was reunited with her passing husband and they are now watching over us from above .
You are greatly and forever missed and loved , however you will never be forgotten .

In November on my 54 th. birthday we buried another close and dear friend Baka Slavica .

For the past 15 years of my life she was my adopted mother , she was around for most of our good or bad days . She was a pleasure to be with and God knows that my Slavica is part of my past that I will fondly remember and when I miss her I will close my eyes and she will be there in my hearth .

Slavica -Volim te , I te puno, puno pogresam .

In December our dear friend Linda moved across the world to Australia to begin a new life with her new found love Chris.

Along with that ,our adopted dog Mr. Briggs had to leave the neighborhood in a search of a new home . Once again we missed them both and knowing that Linda is happy by the side of her new love her man Criss and Mr. Briggs going to a new home — correction – He now is in his new home since December the 27th.

Perhaps that makes this a bit easier to deal with .

True it all , My Dear Wife Noreen of 19 years and my companion for the 21 years has been a great help , strength and inspiration for me . She helped me cross each hurdle in life and pick up the peaces and guide me to carry on .

I am grateful to have her as her Love and understanding makes each morning a pleasureful new beginning .

I only hope that I am able to return what she gives to me .

Thank you and I Love you Noreen .
